Quick'n'Dorty #2

Hello fellow mouse-movers,

since I am currently getting better at Assault Squad 2 I use the breaks from developing and studying to clear out my steam library further.

So. What have we hear today :

1. Tiny Brains
2. Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior
3.Type:Rider

1. Tiny Brains

Excusitly designed, a 3D puzzle game, where you play four laboratory specimen (mouse, hamster etc). Everyone of these has a different ability, one can move things from a distance, another one can create a ice block out of nothing.

You can switch all the time between those four characters.

Thats not new, what makes this game special is the lovley design, the music, the weird but perfectly constructed setting.

I lost the interessted pretty quick due to the kinda boring puzzles, but it is worth a close look alone through the design concept.

I played a bit more, and the puzzles are getting better. The design of the laboratory is really funny.

2.Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior

Oh my whatsoever, this is just crazy. If you buy the modern version of Shadow Warrior on Steam, you get this mini game. Your job is here to clean up after the fight of the start battle scene in the real game.

You have  a swap, gloves and a metal detector, and you have to clean blood, body parts and weapons.

I did that for ten minutes because of the really crazy funny comments while you clean. For some reason I like that surreal joke ! XD

3.Type:Rider

If the german more-less-saying-they-are-a-culture TV channel ARTE does a computer game, you prolly think "well ?!". And damn well, you think !

Type:Rider is a really good looking game where you control two dots in a jump and run physics manor and collect letters in scenarios build out of even bigger letters.

No seriously, you learn a lot about typographic AND it is really beautiful.

A bit boring after the first three levels, but yeah, for some wine and some crackers and the feeling you learn something without the usual hustle of a jump'n'run its is quite good.
